Beautiful packaging of this classic N Sinatra album. Sound fantastic. Bright yellow wax for sure. Great choice from Amazon vinyl of the month club. This is why I joined.

    I ordered this album twice because the first one arrived damaged, and this replacement copy arrived in pristine condition and was double-boxed. Nancy Sinatra is a pop music legend and this album, pressed on bright yellow wax, is an excellent collection to my record collection. The songs sound excellent and bring back memories of the good ole days when pop music was fun and had catchy hooks and happy lyrics. The color/black-and-white picture booklet is the icing on the vinyl cake. If you like Nancy Sinatra, I highly recommend this vinyl album.

    This album has a strong 60's vibe to it. These boots are made for walking is the classic that everyone knows. Most of the other songs are remakes of other bands. If you love a 60's vibe, this album has it. A very enjoyable album and great for "lounge listening"!

    I signed up for the vinyl of the month club to add some eclectic choices to my collection, and that’s exactly what I got! I probably never would have bought it if I saw it in a store, but was impressed by many songs on it. The quality of the pressing was fantastic, and the booklet that came with it was cool. I’m hoping other months offerings have these booklets because it adds to the history of the collection.

    I'm giving this subscription 3 stars because
    #1) It delivers a quality, well working, LP.
    #2) It's decade selection and genere is exactly what I want to see from a Vinyl of the Month Club.
    #3 The album is a repressing. The reason this is a positive thing to me is because older albums have their own sound quality that's simply amazing to listen to whilst alone-- especially if you've acquired the taste for it-- but repressings offer a more modern sound that other's will enjoy along with you.

    The reason that I docked this two stars is for the following reasons. #1 Value for money. I'm just not a fan of the value. Why? Because this subscription is priced at the sane cost of any other album. The way I see it is that I can either buy an album that I want at this price point or I can get a mystery album. I'd rather pick my own album or, alternatively, pay something like $45 a month for this subscription if it offered me two albums.
    #2) The last thing that I didn't like was the ugly yellow tag in the corner of the cover sleeve. It says that it's an Amazon product. I love Amazon--I really do-- but this yellow tag thing decreases the album's worth right out of the gate; repressing or not.

    Amazon se encargó de esta reedición de uno de los discos más icónicos del pop de los años 60's. En efecto, Boots supuso el primer disco de Nancy Sinatra en 1966, y qué mejor que acompañada de numerosos temas a manera de covers respecto de canciones de bandas populares (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, etc.). Si bien el himno o canción icónica es These Boots Are Made for Walkin', el disco es perfecto en la extensión de la palabra en su cantidad y calidad de temas. Ahora bien, la edición es un bello homenaje con un pequeño folleto con fotos y una entrevista a Nancy Sinatra, y aderezado con un disco color amarillo.
    El único punto débil, pero a manera de experiencia personal, es que el empaque del disco llegó dañado, y es algo que se ha vuelto cotidiano tratándose de los vinilos.
